Saap means “delicious” in Laotion and the menu for the Dallas-based Lao family catering company is just that. Choose from Lao fried chicken baskets or larb gai, a Lao chicken salad tossed in toasted rice, lemongrass, galanga, herbs, and lime juice. Spicy Lao-style beef jerky — for which Saap is kind of famous — will also be for sale in four-ounce bags. Wash it all down with cocktails from the distillery bar. Arrive early as the menu will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis from 1-4 pm.
